Mibru attends multiple trade shows looking for the best products to funnel through our hungry sales channels each year.  We understand that to be the leader in the marketplace we need to source, partner and sell the highest quality and affordable products consumers want.

Bruce Scott, CEO.  Bruce has 1) closed over 90 deals involving licensing/assignment, M&A, and corporate partnerships, 2) founded or started up 14 businesses and 3) launched over 45 new products. Bruce has many years experience in general management, finance, fund raising, licensing, business development, sales, ventures, M&A, and China based manufacturing and sourcing. Industries worked in include: life sciences, advanced materials and POLYMERS, chemistry, internet and information technology and both electronic and regular consumer products. Companies he has been associated with include: Nuada Pharmaceuticals, Geron Corporation, NovoDynamics, Catalytica Advanced Technologies and Energy Systems, AIM Nutraceuticals, BF Goodrich and NovoTec. Bruce has an MBA from Purdue University and a B.S. in Public Accounting from Gonzaga University.  In 2011, Bruce Scott was recognized in IAM Strategy 250 – as one of the world’s leading IP Strategists.

Michael Heckly, Director of Business Development.  Mr. Heckly has over 12 years experience as a Sales, Entrepreneur and Business Development Specialist. He has successfully begun and managed 5 companies, including multiple product launches with complex sales and production cycles. Mr. Heckly is an expert in internet marketing and business development. In his current company, Intellectual Licensing & Capital Group (ILG), he has taken on the role of Director of Business Development, and provides leadership on the sales and marketing teams. In addition to his background in business, Mr. Heckly holds a Bachelor of Science from Washington State University and a Master’s Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of San Francisco.

Charles Geist, Buyer and Director. Mr. Geist has 10 years of experience in consumer electronics and knowledge in pursuing new hot trends in the electronics category.  Mr. Geist is key to determining new products suitable for various selling channels across multiple industries and is instrumental in our new product division.  Mr. Geist holds a degree from San Diego State University.
